Angel Kisses 5K & 2K Race

On Sunday, May 9, 2010, the Poplar Tree Community will be holding its 7th Annual Angel Kisses 5K/2K Fun Run. This race has drawn an average of 600 participants each year and has received significant attention from local media. The event is held in memory of Jeffrey Virostek who bravely fought leukemia before passing away at the age of 4.
The beneficiaries of the race are numerous local non-profits who
provide financial and counseling support services to families fighting
cancer. The
Jeffrey Virostek Memorial Fund,
a component fund of the Northern Virginia Community Foundation, was
created for the purpose of assisting families fighting cancer.
Due largely to the generosity of our sponsors, we have been able
to provide more than $100,000 to these charitable organizations since
2004. With your help, we
will continue to benefit these groups.
The minimum contribution is $350 per sponsor. If your business is able to make a larger contribution, please consider the following sponsor levels:
Exclusive logo on sleeve of all commemorative race t-shirts, prominent recognition on posters, race fliers, newspaper articles, our race website and in the Poplar Tree community newsletter.
* Race Bib Sponsor $5,000
Company name imprinted on each race bib worn by runners and walkers at
the event,
* Corporate Sponsors $1,000
Large logo on back of commemorative race t-shirts, recognition on
posters, race fliers, our race website and in media coverage.
* Sponsor $350-$999
Logo on back of commemorative race t-shirts, recognition on posters,
race fliers, our race website and in media coverage.
In
addition, all sponsors will receive two complimentary t-shirts and two
race registrations.
